With the increase in popularity of long, wide boards Big Tree have introduced a range of 21mm thick engineered floors. These have a top layer 6mm thick of the relevant decorative hardwood mounted onto a high quality birch plywood core. Oaks are available 160mm and 200mm wide both finished in a matt lacquer which gives the appearance of an oiled floor. Particularly impressive is a 189mm wide prime American black walnut, a beautifully dark rich timber which is becoming increasingly popular especially in this extra wide board.
